Upfu: Donated Food Distributed January 2009

MBIRA used some of the 2008 donations to the MBIRA Musicians' Fund to buy 27.5 lb (12.5 kg) bags of upfu (white corn meal used to make sadza, the staple food of Zimbabwe) for distribution to 140 musicians in January 2009.

100% of donations to the MBIRA Musicians' Fund are distributed to over 150 traditional musicians all over Zimbabwe.
