Note: those currently in stock do NOT have the carving on the front, so the price is discounted. 6 3/4″ (117 cm) wide board, 7 1/4″ (18.5 cm) key spread, 24 key mbira with metal beads on wire buzzers and wired construction, sweet and clear sound with little buzz, and carved design on front. The tuning is “MBIRA workshop pitch” (lowest note around B) nyamaropa tuning. Note: Photo is typical of this maker and tuning, however each mbira is individually handmade and may look slightly different.
