Description

More classic recordings of the mbira group that featured Ephat Mujuru, together with ‘Sekuru Gora’ Thomas Wadarwa on lead vocals. The second half of this album is Ephat’s later mbira electric band (with the same name), of which the song Mugariro (Way of Living) made him a household name throughout Zimbabwe. Even years after its release, people who spotted him on the streets of Harare would shout out “Mugariro!.” [Total time: 78:43]
