November 8th at 7:30 pm. Benefit concert of healing mbira music of Zimbabwe with Samaita Vitalis Botsa and Erica Azim.
100% of ticket payments go to musicians in Zimbabwe who earned less than $100 in 2025 (Samaita will be paid from MBIRA’s City of Berkeley General Operating Grant – thank you City of Berkeley!).
At the Mahea Uchiyama Center for International Dance, 1800 Dwight Way, Berkeley, CA. Sliding scale $10 to $1,000 (tax-deductible donation).
Definitely get tickets for your entire family/friends early, as this concert is expected to sell out – the last concert of Samaita’s tour, so your last chance to hear him without traveling to Zimbabwe!
NOTE: you will not have a physical ticket, your name and number of tickets purchased will be on the ‘already paid’ list at the door.
