Description
The name of this group refers to “Following in the footsteps of those who went before”. The group was formed by the late great Cosmas Magaya’s son Mudavanhu, who plays kutsinhira mbira parts in the group and encourages the group to be as traditional as possible. He’s joined by his sister Matilda on hosho, cousin Kudakwashe Sikalela on mbira, Passwell Maburuse on mbira and vocals, and Kudzai Samapundo on vocals. B flat pitch nyamaropa tuning. [Total time: 78:11]
