Enjoy healing music and community at regional MBIRA Weekend Workshops. All material taught is from the Shona traditional repertoire played for centuries in Zimbabwe. All levels from first-time-to-try-it to advanced are welcome – you will be taught at your own level, and receive individual attention in addition to small group learning.
There is always plenty of time to practice, as needed.
Meals are sometimes included. The following regions have weekend workshops:
