Description

Calling the spirits to bring life-giving rain is an important part of the role of the traditional mbira player. During February 2019, these two musicians first brought the rain to their home in the Chihota rural area, and then came to Harare to be recorded and brought rain there! All this during a period of drought that had many subsistence farmers eyeing wilted crops. [Total time: 79:55]
