Description

This casual Kwenda recording includes tracks 1-4 in nyamaropa tuning (MBIRA workshop pitch, B), which is sweet and high, and tracks 5-8 in the low-pitched nemakonde tuning. Perhaps most unusual on this one is Kwenda’s style of the Beauler Dyoko classic Unozofa. [Total time: 94:54]
