Katsanzaira Mbira made by Fradreck Mujuru

Description

7″(18 cm) wide board, 8″(20 cm) key spread, 24-key mbira with metal beads on wire buzzers and wired construction, mellow sound. Katsanzaira tuning is a very sweet high pitched Dorian mode tuning, pitch of lowest note about E flat. Katsanzaira means the sound of the first gentle rain before a storm.
