Description

These two musicians from the town of Chinhoyi play mbira that sounds like ripples in a lake. Playing two nyamaropa dongonda tuning mbiras, the range is reduced to two octaves, but the many duplicate-pitched notes result in a swirling, rippling effect. The mellow mbira, with no vocals, is perfect for massage sessions. [Total time: 79:48]
