This recording is a must, MUST have for fans of gandanga (mavembe) tuning mbira! Nephews of the late, great John Kunaka, who live in the Nyamweda area of rural Mhondoro Communal Area, Zimbabwe, Tembedza and Bapiro are wonderful mbira players in their own right. Bapiro’s lyrical singing will be a new favorite, too! Bapiro’s son accompanies on hosho. [Total time: 78:45]
