Nyamaropa Dongonda Mbira (B pitch) made by Josephat Mandaza

Description

6 3/4″ (17 cm) wide board, 7 1/2″ (19 cm) wide key spread, 24-key mbira with bottletop buzzers and bolted construction, bright sound. Dongonda tunings have all but the lowest right hand key (single row) an octave lower than usual. The mbira is “MBIRA workshop pitch” (lowest note about a B) nyamaropa dongonda tuning.
