Nyamaropa Mbira (B Pitch) made by Fradreck Manjengwa

Description

Each mbira has a similar carved design of a village house and 2 trees – gorgeous!  6 3/4″ (17 cm) wide board (+/- 1/8″), 7 1/4″ (18.5 cm) to 7 1/2″ (19 cm) key spread, 24 key mbira with metal beads on wire buzzers and wired construction, sweet sound, and beautiful carved design on front. Each mbira has a unique carved design similar to the one shown. You can request photos of the ones in stock if the design is important to you, but they are all gorgeous!

The tuning is “MBIRA workshop pitch” (lowest note around B) nyamaropa tuning. Note: Photo is typical of this maker and tuning, however each mbira is individually handmade.
