Family! These two father and son pairs from Hodobo and Godzi villages in Chiweshe Communal Area, Zimbabwe, show that tradition is going strong in their area! Listen to the three different mbira parts for each piece, and beautiful traditional singing from Bothwell Mafusire. The younger mbira players, ages 21 and 27, carry the ways of the ancestors into the next generation. [Total time: 76:50]
