Description

Not many Zimbabweans are still singing the old traditional songs. Here, 16 men and women aged 27 to 83, from four villages in the Dewedzo area — Wafawanaka, Chakanyuka, Chikuni and Mujuru — gathered to sing and dance some of their old favorites, together with hosho. They had SUCH a good time, that the younger generation will hopefully be inspired to learn the songs, too. [Total time: 79:49]
