Description
Tadzungaira (”We’re confused and suffering”) is a traditional Shona mbira piece played in ceremonies, praying to the ancestors for an end to suffering. The song is also commonly called Todzungaira, Ndodzungaira, Muroro, Vamuroro, Hondo, and Nehondo. This collection features performances of the piece in nyamaropa tuning, though track 4 is in nyamaropa dongonda tuning. [Total time: 79:52]
