Travel size Katsanzaira mbira made by Fradreck Mujuru

Description

6 1/4″ (16 cm) wide board and 7″ (18 cm) key spread, 24-key mbira with metal beads on wire buzzers and wired construction, mellow sound. This is a great mbira for someone with small hands, as well as those who want a lighter mbira for traveling! Katsanzaira tuning is a very sweet high pitched Dorian mode tuning, pitch of lowest note about E flat. Katsanzaira means the sound of the first gentle rain before a storm.
