Description

This is the third Discount Download Only collection of mbira recordings played in mavembe, also known as gandanga, tuning, selected from MBIRA’s library of recordings. All tracks, except track 2, were recorded in Zimbabwe in 1986 (tracks 1 & 3), 1991 (track 4), and 1994 (tracks 5 & 6). Track 2 was recorded live in Berkeley, CA in 2006. [Total time: 47:17]
