Description

The Mazai Mbira Group was famous in Zimbabwe in the 1980’s and 1990’s for their 3 locally published albums, and they still sing the luscious vocals they have always been known for – you’ll definitely want to sing along with this one! The bouncy groove also makes this a great CD to dance to, or wake up to on the way to work in the morning. This group is based in Bulawayo and Gwanda, in southwest Zimbabwe, and includes the two living members of the original group, as well as one new member. The tuning is a very LOW gandanga/mavembe.
