Description
These are classic mbira electric band recordings of master mbira player Newton Cheza Chozengwa (formerly Newton Gwara) and his Nheravauya Brothers band. These recordings made him very famous in Zimbabwe for his excellent voice! He plays a nyamaropa dongonda mbira in the group, a tuning which he calls njari makonde. [Total time: 85:54]
