Description

The album title means We Are All Healed by the Ancient Ancestors. The musicians recorded this album with the intention of bringing the healing energy of the ancestors as a balm to all who are experiencing the struggles and strife around the planet in 2025. We hope you feel the healing!

Thanks to a generous donor, it was recorded in an incredible recording studio, unlike MBIRA’s typical field recordings. Bangidza is played on katsanzaira tuning, Chipindura on B pitch nyamaropa tuning, and Marenje and Shumba on nemakonde tuning.

Recorded and mixed by David Luke in Berkeley, California, and mastered by Lachlan Fletcher, in October 2025. [Total time: 68:49]
