Description

On this archival recording, master mbira player Tute Chigamba plays with son Garadziva (age 11) on tracks 2-9, and with Forward Kwenda (age 23) on track 1 and tracks 10-16. Both were already accomplished mbira players. Enjoy both mbira classics and some more unusual pieces, all played in gandanga (mavembe) tuning. Recorded by Glenn Panna Makuna. [Total time: 90:22]
